Should you stay with someone you Love, but arent IN love with...?

u kinda are still in love because you are comfy with them and sex is good.. but the flame just isnt really there as much...

I don't think I would stay. Honestly, it's easier said than done, but if you stay with that person only because the sex is good, and you aren't giving your full self, than it's not worth hanging on to. You're only cheating yourself.

If you find yourself in that situation right now Gisele, than break it off or take a break from it and breathe for a little bit. Although I only know you to a certain extent, it shouldn't be hard to find that special person. The only problem is that there's too many pigs out there looking only to get inside girl's pants.

I'd expand on that, but I'm tired.

i agree it sucks because on paper everything is good.. nice guy, been together a long time, best friend, good sex..

but iam just not 100% there... but yeah like you said easier said than done and i know there are better people out there and i think thats what makes this hard.. is that knowing what i should do, but being too scared to actually DO it haha


plus i have all my boyfriends here so iam good hahaha

Yeah... I agree... I don't think it would be worth it to stay in that "comfort zone" It might last awhile longer, but in the end it will probably never get any better and you only pass up a greater opportunity. =/

Like I said, if you hang on than your not helping yourself, your personal growth and development as a woman. If you're being scared than you're only hurting yourself on the inside and the longer you hang on the more you'll regret. You don't wanna wake up one morning 20 years from now and say, "What might of been". That's one's thing you don't wanna do is regret. You only live one life and make the most of it; make yourself happy. If you truly believe that you'll find someone else, than let it happen because it's all about faith.

Myself and others on this forum can tell you so many things, but all in all, you can only absorb our advice and make YOUR decision.

I dunno I'm kinda on the fence with it. One of the reasons I think marriages don't last these days is cause people expect the love to be completely amazing like it was when it first started out. Of course it's gunna taper off and I think if you're still happy mostly, I just don't really see why it should end. But then again I don't know the whole details. I dunno. >_> Date me.

thats a good point too... see i understand its not always going to be as romantic and fireworks later down the road... but when everything is already fading so young... it kinda makes me think , whats the future gonna be like if its already slowing down this young and only after 4 yrs :/

Going back to what I said earlier in the thread, just take a break and tell him to give you some space. Use that time alone to think and during that time, you'll realize if he's what you really want because you wouldn't be able to live without him.
