The wrestling Thread
I figured since there are some pro wrestling fans on the board, I would make a pro wrestling thread. This thread will include wwe, tna, ring of honor, and independant promotions. If anyone is game to talk pro wrestling, this is the thread. (Personally, I would like to wrestle gisele,lol
 )

How bout I get the ball rolling and say that I was not a big fan of the re-shuffling of the rosters on WWE's three programs, then again, when have I ever been happy about the boneheaded moves that WWE has done in the past. TNA, however, seems to be getting good with Samoa Joe Joining the Main Event Mafia, and more and more wrestlers coming into TNA, and I have stared to get into ROH (Ring of Honor) they have some good talent there. Well if anyone have any news or wrestling subjects to add, this would be the thread. BTW, god bless you Mitsuhara Misawa.

In other wrestling news...So Bobby Lashley finnaly decides to continue to pursue his pro wrestling career and signs with TNA. we'll see how far that goes. I really wanted to see him and Brock Lesnar duke it out in the UFC before Lashley goes back to wrestling.

i grew up watching wrestling...i live in atlanta so i was always around wcw..ted turner of course...all the guys are from here....
but i quit watching several years ago...whenever john cena won the world title his 2nd straight wrestlemania...the shit just got ridiculous....i could no longer bare it....i miss the old days

Think about it like this. They keep begging the fans to get over Montreal, yet they do the Montreal finish everytime they go there. For those of us that had to see it the first time, it's not fun revisiting it over and over.

it always happens....its part of being a "company guy"...if you want to get new talent established and get respected he must get wins over quality opponents, he cant just run around beating nobodies...you take a new guy and give him a win over a huge superstar like taker and suddenly the fans take notice... someone like taker has never lost at wrestlemania...in order to keep that record going he has to make sacrifices...so vince says "hey taker, wrestlemania is coming up, if you take the loss to so and so i guarantee you the win at wrestlemania and you keep your unbeaten streak alive" just like hes done to many guys...the company guys who will put aside their egos to allow themselves to help lesser known guys make a name for themselves will be paid back in the future...triple h has won so many belts by losing to guys he never should have lost to... thats why you see big show getting tag team belts a lot....hes lost a lot of matches to dudes he never should have lost to...hes made a lot of guys famous by losing to dudes that no way in hell he could possibly lose to...and every now and then vince mcmahon will let him get a tagteam belt as a reward for his appreciation... you beat big show or taker you will become a star pretty quickly.... its a give and take thing...vince says "hey do this thing for me and help me make this guy famous down the road in a 6 months or so after the guy gets popular i'll pay you back with some big wins and maybe even a belt for your sacrifice"
