I'm a die hard football fan, especially College.
Would have LOOOOOOOVED to see Ohio State lose. Fuckers. Iowa got lucky too by blocking two FGs in the last minute of the game to win by one. Looking froward to the Bama/VT game too. I think Bama is too strong. Watching Oklahoma/BYU as we speak.

ive reached the point now where i dont even give a fuck about the nfl anymore....i used to not like college football...but the energy of it is unparalled...
ohio state drew 107,000 fans when they played usc....college is so fucking crazy...the nfl is so about money...they are all primadonnas who pitch a fit about money and whine...u could never duplicate any nfl game with the energy you can get from a deep college rivalry...there is no nfl stadium that can hold over a hundred thousand people like there is in college football... those kids are playing for the passion of the game, they aint making a fucking dime...they are playing for the honor and legacy of the school itself...they are playing for the teams that existed before them... an nfl rivalry only exists in the fans head...cause when an nfl player's contract expires they will leave for whoever the fuck pays them the most...they dont give 2 shits about a 50 year rivalry between 2 nfl teams... but nfl players...whereever they graduate from whether it be florida or michigan or oklahoma or texas or whereever...they will represent that shit forever...they will always be a "gator" or a "longhorn" or whoever....cause they take that shit more serious than they do their nfl team... most college players know that they aint gonna make the nfl...only a rare few will be drafted....so they play the game for pride... watching oklahoma vs texas or florida vs georgia or oklahoma vs nebraska or notre dame vs usc or michigan vs ohio state is WAY bigger than redskins/cowboys bears/packers steelers/browns giants/eagles u just wont see the energy and passion in the nfl games as you will the college games

but it's not nearly as much fun as it was last year. Once you've won a National Championship and the fact that I went to the SEC Championship and the National Championship game it takes a little bit of the fun away from the game but still..... GO GATORS!!!!

BA...I've been like that for years. I watch the NFL because I love football, but the college game is much more fun to watch. An upset in the NFL means pretty much nothing, unless it happens post season. To see upsets like BYU over Okie St. or Washington over USC is exciting to watch even if you're not a fan of either team.
College kids have something to play for every week...the pros, not so much.

south carolina upset ole miss tonight! fuck yea i called that shit...ole miss was way too overrated...how the fuck were they rated number 4??? they hadnt beat anyone....i knew this shit was gonna happen....
miami vs virginia tech is gonna be the game to watch this week!

i been slack in this thread...fuck the bcs...
i watch like 8 different games every saturday...my friends hate me cause making plans with me on a saturday is fucking pointless..... i cant believe north carolina upset virginia tech last night on that last minute field goal, that was insane... this week the games ima be watching are: the 2 HUGE games this weekend... #4 usc vs #10 oregon.....usc still has a chance to get into the championship game...and a win over oregon in unison with a #3 texas loss to #13 oklahoma state could put them into the #3 spot...and whoever is ranked #3 at the end of the season is guaranteed a spot in the national championship game since #1 and #2 alabama will face off in the sec championship game which will drop one of them down when they lose... this is by far the biggest game of the weekend... #3 texas vs #13 oklahoma state...if texas wins this game they are pretty much guaranteed to meet the winner of alabama vs florida in the championship game...cause the rest of their schedule is a joke...the problem is that they are playing AT oklahoma state...and that is NOT an easy place for a visiting team to win...texas wins this game they are set...regardless of what usc does they will play for the bcs championship #1 florida vs georgia...known as "the world's largest cocktail party"..on paper this seems pretty much a mismatch and appears to be a total domination by florida...ga's defense is horrid and cant stop anyone....this is the biggest rivalry in the sec...the one thing going for georgia is they are coming off a bye week...so they've had 2 weeks to prepare for florida and tebow...since im from georgia and my family is from florida i of course take a huge interest in this game...but yea this truly is the world's largest cocktail party...it is a one day mardi gras experience, there is no other football game like it...florida should have an easy time.. #15 houston vs southern miss....this is a chance to see the possible heisman trophy winner kase keinam..this dude is a monster....(not sure i spelled his name right) his stats destroy tebows and every other qb...hes a beast...check it if you get a chance theres like 10 other games i'll be watching but i want bore you...but these are some cool games to check out this weekend
