NFL Week 6
Okay. Is it just me or are the Patriots lying when they said they wanted to "shut up" Bill Belichick about their offensive struggles. That was clearly the Pats running up the score on the Titans.
And my Steelers won again against the Browns. Meanwhile the Saints pummeled the Giants and the Vikings are 6-0. How about everyone else and their teams? |

My sad Bears lost.
Poor Tennessee. That was like a pro team taking on a Division 2 college team. They might as well keep losing and try to beat the Rams to the Number One draft pick.

Kinda weird to see all of the nfc east lose. thats good for the cowboys.
My thought on the Pats are that, this is professional sport. There is no such thing as running up the score. If the Titans don't like the ass whipping, play some defense then.

nice to see the giants get buttfucked by drew brees. but then again i'd rather get blown out then lose a close game that should have been won if the coaches werent so dumb in football iq. aka the eagles.

i mean come on, they've beaten kansas city, oakland, tampa, and the redskins...the 4 worst teams in the league.... and now look who they have coming up....arizona, philly, san diego, atlanta, and denver...and what do they have in common? other than san diego they have winning records... (damn irina is gonna hate me for this post, sorry babe, i hope you still love me yea my falcons defense are beastly when teams get inside the redzone...they've given up the 3rd least amount of points of any other nfl team..trailing only denver and indi...they force turnovers like crazy in the red zone, did it against miami too...only given up 77 points in 5 games... even though they lost to new england they held brady to 157 yards and only 1 td..they forced them to kick 4 field goals cause brady couldnt get the td in the red zone... the falcons and the cowboys is gonna be a hell of a game next week in dallas..cant wait for that shit...if romo is on his game its gonna be exciting as shit...i hope a good romo shows up, i wanna see a good romo/matt ryan shootout...

as far as the saints go...i have no answer for them...they look unstoppable...im lookin at their schedule and its possible they could go undefeated...they only have 3 teams left to play all season against teams with winning records....atlanta, new england, and dallas....and if atlanta beats dallas then that leaves only atlanta and new england as the only 2 teams left with winning records they play the rest of the season...
and so far NO ONE has even come CLOSE to even having a REMOTE chance at solving them...they get by atlanta and new england they go undefeated period...cause the rest of their games they play carolina twice, tampa twice, the redskins, the rams, and miami... denver is looking amazing...no one could have predicted they would be where they are now...they got a tough schedule coming up though...they got baltimore and pitt back to back their next 2 games...and they still got the colts, philly, and the giants coming up...thats 5 tough games... indi is 5-0 and since their next 3 games are against the rams, san fran, and houston they will more than likely be 8-0 when they face new england which will be a FUCK YEA of a game, cant wait for that one favre and the vikings are unbelievable...5-0....but they got pitt coming up sunday...lets see how that goes.. oh and of course my atlanta falcons they're 4-1 and they have the 4th toughest schedule in the entire nfl...they've already played new england away...now they've got to play dallas and new orleans back to back away...a couple weeks later they have to play the giants away...and after that they have to play philly and new orleans again back to back...thats a tough schedule... i think they're gonna win 10 games this year and make the wild card and go to the playoffs again...thats what im hoping...

Looking ahead to the next few weeks, there is definitely going to be some very interesting games on the horizon. Here's a few:
Week 7: Vikings at (my)Steelers, Falcons at Cowboys Week 8: Vikings at Packers(why oh why is this not part of NBC or ESPN? It should switch to one of those networks but won't), Giants at Eagles, and the big one Falcons at Saints. The 'MNF' game between the Falcons and Saints could be a matchup of 5-1 vs. 7-0 teams. Something is going to give in that game on Nov. 2nd. |

I think this is a huge week for the Falcons. Even though the Cowboys aren't as feared as they usually are, they're still a damn good team. A victory over them really gets them more national recognition.
Big game for both the Vikings and the Steelers. Teams have really ganged up on AP and made Favre beat them...and he's succeeded. Steelers D is much better than the Vikes have faced yet. Steelers need to put some wins together to get some distance on the Bengals and Ravens. ...and those Saints are ROLLING fools. They've had a passing game, but now they've added a solid running game and a wicked D. After beating up the Giants, the have to be considered the cream of the crop. But you're right Aries...don't sleep on Indy. People are fogetting about them and that could make them even more dangerous.

Saints very good this year. That later game against the Patriots in New Orleans will one hell of a game.
I don't think anyone should ever sleep on those Colts. The train just keeps on chugging along. Peyton Manning is playing every snap and Dwight Freeney is going crazy on people. And Bob Sanders is making his triumphant return this Sunday. Colts are always going to be there. |
